As the Community Relations Director for the Lakeshore East community I receive many phone calls and emails regarding our Lakeshore East community. I am often asked about the status of the Village Market.  Residents are curious as to when construction will begin, what type of retailers will occupy the space as well as I’m often given suggestions for what is needed and wanted.

Due to permits the construction of the Village Market has taken longer than initially anticipated.  We are confident that the 12 month project will be moving forward in the spring of 2008. 

Confirmed retailer, Treasure Island Grocery Store is one of the most anticipated additions to the Lakeshore East neighborhood. 

The Community Corner Blog was created for multiple reasons.  The Community Corner is a means to communicate important, fun and needed information, but also to start conversations with the community.
